New Appointments and Recommendations (GoI), Check List

The Central Government has, in recent notifications, issued several key appointments and recommendations.


  • Nitina Nagori (IRS C&IT: 2009) has been appointed as Deputy Director (Administration) at IN-SPACe HQ Ahmedabad for five years.
  • Mahatme Sandeep Namdeo (IAS: 2010: TR) becomes Private Secretary to Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying until May 9, 2026.
  • Ashutosh Kumar (IRS C&CE: 2013) is named Private Secretary to Union MoS Ram Nath Thakur for Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, serving until May 14, 2027.
  • Aparna N (IPS: 2014: AM) joins as Superintendent of Police in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for five years.
  • BSF Director General Nitin Agarwal (IPS: 1989: KL) is repatriated to his parent cadre.
  • Y B Khurania (IPS: 1990: OD), Special DG of BSF, also returns to his parent cadre.
  • Amrit Mohan Prasad (IPS: 1989: OD) is appointed Special Director General, CRPF, until his superannuation on August 31, 2025.
  • Subhash Chandra Agarwal (IRS C&IT: 1994) and Anita Sinha (IRS IT: 1990) are repatriated to take advantage of promotions.
  • Rohit Deo Jha (IRS IT: 2013) becomes Private Secretary to MoS Prof. S P Singh in the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying until April 10, 2026.
  • Rishirendra Kumar (IAS: 2011: UP) has been appointed MoS Finance Pankaj Chaudhary’s private secretary for five years.
  • T Natarajan (IAS: 1996: GJ), Additional Secretary in the Department of Defence Production, returns to his parent cadre at the request of the Gujarat Government.
  • Viku L Achumi (IPS: 2022: TN) is transferred from Tamil Nadu to the Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
