The much-awaited 5th Elets National Urban Innovation Summit is all set to be held tomorrow, 7 August 2024, at the Taj City Centre in Gurugram. This year’s theme, “Transforming Urban Landscapes & Fostering Sustainable Cities,” highlights the critical need for innovative strategies in urban development to address challenges and pave the way for more thoughtful, more sustainable cities.

The Municipal Corporation of Gurugram has extended its support as the ‘Host Partner,’ whereas eGov magazine, Asia and Middle East’s one and only magazine on eGovernance, is the ‘Knowledge Partner’ for this summit.

The summit will also feature an Expo showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions in urban development, along with an Awards ceremony to honour visionary leaders, trailblazers, and industry pioneers shaping the future of urban landscapes in India.

The summit will be chaired by a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr Narhari Banger, Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram, who will guide discussions and initiatives with his vast experience and leadership in urban development.

The summit has received strong support from various corporate partners, including DLF, Zomato, Fenesta, Whiteland Developer, NTPC and Neuton.

A key highlight of the event will be the launch of a special edition of eGov magazine, dedicated to recent technological advancements and innovative practices in urban development. This publication will showcase transformative ideas and solutions shaping urban spaces’ future.

The 5th Elets National Urban Innovation Summit will explore critical topics through engaging panel discussions. These include Smart City Initiatives focusing on technology integration for enhanced urban living, Innovations in Affordable Housing to address urban population growth, and Sustainable Urban Transport Solutions aimed at reducing carbon footprints. Additionally, Waste Management and Resource Efficiency will emphasise sustainable practices, while Public-Private Partnerships in Urban Development will examine the challenges and opportunities of collaborative efforts. These discussions will collectively contribute to advancing sustainable urban transformation.
