Lokesh Lohiya, a known figure in the government sector, has joined Google Cloud India’s Public Sector Leadership team. With a proven track record in business leadership within the government domain, Lokesh Lohiya is set to spearhead Google Cloud’s initiatives catering to State Governments and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) across India.
With over 13 years of experience, including a stint as West Business Head-SLG at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Lokesh brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. His extensive background includes directing business development efforts in digital transformation, particularly in areas such as Smart Cities, Agriculture, and Airports.
During his tenure at Cisco, Lokesh played a pivotal role in developing India’s Smart & Safe Cities business and maintaining market leadership across the country. He fostered collaborations with ISV and ecosystem partners, shaping multi-domain architectures and aligning internal teams for optimal performance.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Lokesh Lohiya stated, “I am happy to announce that I have joined Google Cloud as the Head of State Governments and PSU.
