
In a significant administrative shake-up preceding the 2024 Lok Sabha Election in Madhya Pradesh, the state government of Madhya Pradesh has transferred 12 IAS officers, including six district collectors.
Dharmendra Kumar Jain (promotee IAS) has been given the role of collector in Umaria, while Rajesh Batham (2012 batch IAS officer) took charge as the collector of Ratlam.
Neha Meena (2015 batch IAS officer) has been designated as the collector of Jhabua, and Buddhesh Kumar Vaidya (2014 batch IAS) is tasked with the charge of Collector Vidisha. Sudhir Kumar Kochar (promotee IAS) was appointed as the Collector of Damoh.

Among other key appointments, Bhaskar Lakshkar, a 2010 batch IAS officer serving as Ratlam Collector, has been appointed the Managing Director of State Seed and Farm Development Corporation. Additionally, Umashankar Bhargava, a 2011 batch IAS officer and Vidisha Collector, has been elevated to the position of Additional Secretary to the Governor.

Furthermore, Dharendra Kumar Jain, previously Deputy Secretary, Personnel, has been appointed as the Collector of Umaria. Swarochish Somvanshi, a 2012 batch IAS officer, transitioned from Deputy Secretary to Governor.

Jhabua Collector Tanvi Hooda, an IAS officer of the 2014 batch, has been reassigned as the Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation.
