15 IAS transferred in MP, Bharat Yadav made Secretary to CM

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, The Madhya Pradesh government has initiated a significant administrative reshuffle, transferring 15 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to various key positions across the state. Vinod Kumar (1989), who currently serves as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the General Administration Department, has been reassigned as the Director General of the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration.

Anirudh Mukerjee (1993), who holds the position of Principal Secretary in the Public Property Management Department, along with additional responsibilities as Director General of the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Ayush. Additionally, he will assume the role of Principal Secretary of the Public Property Management department and Managing Director of the MP State Property Management Company.

Manish Rastogi (1994), who presently serves as the Principal Secretary of the Jail Department, has been transferred to the General Administration Department. He will also take on the additional responsibility of coordinating the Chief Secretary’s Office.

Dr. Navneet Kothari (2001), the Managing Director of the MP Industrial Development Corporation Limited and ex-officio Secretary of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, will now serve as the Secretary of Fishermen Welfare and Fishery Development.

Ravindra Singh (2004), the Secretary of the Home Department with additional duties as the Executive Director of the Disaster Management Institute, has been appointed as the Commissioner cum Director of Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection. He will also serve as the Managing Director of the Madhya Pradesh State Warehousing Corporation.

Omprakash Shrivastava (2007), who currently holds the position of Excise Commissioner, has been reassigned as the Secretary of Home. He will also take on the additional responsibility of Executive Director of the Disaster Management Institute.

Bharat Yadav (2008), the Commissioner of Urban Administration & Development, will now serve as the Secretary to the Chief Minister. He will also take on the role of Commissioner of the State Urban Administration and Development Department.

The reshuffle also includes Avinash Lavania (2009), Tarun Kumar Pithode (2009), Abhijeet Agrawal (2010), Chandrashekar Valimbe (2010), Chandramauli Shukla (2011), Gautam Singh (2011), Aditi Garg (2015), and Anshul Gupta (2015), who have been reassigned to various departments across the state, each with distinct responsibilities as part of the administrative restructuring.
