Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, will address the 2nd Edition of the flagship Financial Technology event – Infinity Forum 2.0, on December 09, 2023. This flagship event is hosted by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and GIFT City, operating under the auspices of the Government of India.
The inaugural edition of the Infinity Forum, held in December 2021, garnered immense global attention with over 95,000 registrations from more than 80 countries. It featured a ‘FinTech Showcase’ with over 100 virtual exhibitors running concurrently with the main event.
Infinity Forum serves as a prominent global thought leadership platform for financial services, fostering the discovery, discussion, and development of progressive ideas, solutions, and innovative technologies from around the world.
This year, the 2nd edition of Infinity Forum 2.0 is organized as a prelude to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024. The event will be held in a hybrid format, with an exclusive in-person gathering in GIFT City and virtual participation open to attendees worldwide.
Distinguished speakers from the Union Government and the Government of Gujarat include Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Shri Piyush Goyal, and Minister for Railways and Communications Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw. Other notable speakers include Shri Ajay Seth (Secretary, DEA, Ministry of Finance), Shri K. Rajaraman (Chairperson, IFSCA), Shri Hasmukh Adhia (Chairman, GIFT City Co. Ltd), Shri Tapan Ray (MD & CEO, GIFT City Co. Ltd), Shri K. V. Kamath (Chairman, National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development), and Shri Uday Kotak (Founder and Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank).
Infinity Forum 2.0’s central theme is ‘GIFT-IFSC: Nerve Centre for New Age Global Financial Services,’ focusing on three distinct tracks:
Plenary Track: Exploring the Evolution of a New Age International Financial Centre.
Green Track: Advocating for Sustainable Finance and a “Green Stack.”
Silver Track: Establishing GIFT IFSC as a Longevity Finance Hub.
The event will kick off with an “Investors Meet” on December 08, 2023, bringing together FinTech entities authorized by IFSCA or recommended by institutions with MoUs with IFSCA, as well as accredited accelerators. The Investors Meet will feature a pitching session for FinTech entities to showcase their innovative products and solutions, along with one-on-one meetings between participating investors and selected FinTech entities.
Infinity Forum 2.0 expects to draw over 300 CXOs for the in-person component, complemented by robust online participation from India and a global audience spanning over 20 countries, including the USA, UK, Singapore, South Africa, UAE, Australia, and Germany. Notably, the event anticipates attendance from CXOs of prominent global organizations, foreign university Vice-Chancellors, and representatives of foreign embassies.
