IAS Officer


In Telangana, the state government led by Revanth Reddy has announced the transfer and appointment of seven key officers, including six IAS officers and one IPS officer.

E Sridhar, a 2004 batch IAS officer who previously served as the Special Secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department, has been appointed as the new Prohibition & Excise Commissioner, replacing Jyoti Buddha Prakash. Additionally, Sridhar will assume the Full Additional Charge of VC & MD and ED of TSIIC, taking over from E V Narsimha Reddy.

EV Narsimha Reddy, the outgoing Prohibition & Excise Commissioner, has been reassigned as the Tribal Welfare Director, succeeding Christina Z Chongthu.


Bharati Hollikeri, a 2010 batch IAS officer and the Collector of Rangareddy, has been transferred and directed to report to the GAD.

Gowtham Potru, the Collector of Medchal-Malkajgiri, has been given the Full Additional Charge of Rangareddy Collector.


Shruti Ojha, a 2013 batch IAS officer, formerly serving as the Additional Commissioner of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), has been reassigned as the Director of Intermediate Education & Secretary, Board of Intermediate Education, relieving Navin Mittal of his additional charge.

Devendra Singh Chauhan, a 1997 batch IPS officer, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Executive Officer, Principal Secretary to Government, CAF & CS. This appointment relieves 1996 batch IPS officer Anil Kumar from the Full Additional Charge.
