In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Rajasthan government transferred a total of 39 IAS officers in the state on Thursday. Both Central service and state service officers are being continuously transferred ahead of the assembly elections in Rajasthan. According to the transfer order, two divisional commissioners and six district collectors have been replaced, while two officers have been given additional responsibilities.

Kailash Chand Meena, who previously held the position of Divisional Commissioner in Jodhpur, has been reassigned as the Government Secretary of the Local Self-Government department. Bhanuprakash Yeturu has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Bikaner, while Bhanwarlal Mehra has taken over as the Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur. Neeraj Pawan has been relieved of his role as Divisional Commissioner in Bikaner and reassigned as the Government Secretary of the Ayurveda Department.

The district collectors affected by the reshuffle are Jaisalmer, Sikar, Nagaur, Sri Ganganagar, Udaipur, and Chittorgarh.
