In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Telangana government today transferred nine IAS officers. Among the notable changes, RV Karnan has been appointed as the new District Collector of Nalgonda, replacing T Vinay Krishna Reddy.
The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) Secretary, B Gopi, will now take charge as the Collector of Karimnagar district, stepping into the role previously held by RV Karnan.
Meanwhile, T Vinay Krishna Reddy, the outgoing Nalgonda District Collector, has been directed to report to the General Administration Department in Hyderabad.
Another notable transfer involves Venkatesh Dhotre, who served as the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Mahabubabad. He has now been assigned the role of GHMC Additional Commissioner.

Furthermore, Hemanta Keshav Patil has been appointed as the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) for Komaram Bheem Asifabad district.
In addition, Jalda Arunasri, the former Additional Collector (Local Bodies) of Karimnagar, has been posted as the new Additional Collector (Local Bodies) of Peddapalli district, with Jangaon Additional Collector (Local Bodies) Praful Desai replacing her.

Completing the reshuffle, G Ramesh, previously holding the position of Special Grade Deputy Collector, has been appointed as the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) of Medak district.
This is the second big transfer in the state as the Government had also transferred 31 IAS officers on 14th July.
