The ‘Siksha Setu Axom’ portal was formally launched at an event attended by the Assam education minister Ranoj Pegu in Guwahati on Monday.
According to sources, the portal launch event was held in Kahilipara in Guwahati. The portal has been launched to collect all information on schools, including that of the staff and students.
Ranoj Pegu, the education minister for Assam, was present during the portal’s official debut in Kahilipara.
In the meantime, the state will experience ‘School Profile Updation Week’ after the Shiksha Setu Axom portal’s opening, during which all information will be uploaded on the platform.
Ranoj Pegu, who spoke at the ceremony, stated, “With the help of this portal, we are looking to take things forward in terms of revamping the education sector.”
‘School Profile Updation Week’ will take place in Assam from April 24 to April 30, 2023. The state ministry of education provided this information.
Mr. Ranoj Pegu said on Twitter that “From April 24-30, 2023 we will be observing the School Profile Updation Week, wherein 360 degree information on schools will be uploaded in the Siksha Setu Asom Portal.”
