16 IAS and two IPS Officers transferred in Himachal Pradesh

The Himachal Pradesh government, today, in a significant bureaucratic arrangement ordered the removal and posting of 16 IAS and two IPS Officers  with immediate effect. 


Here is the complete list:

  1. Sumit Khimta (IAS: 2015: HP) has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Sirmaur.
  2. Rahul Kumar (IAS: 2016: HP) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul Spiti.
  3. R K Gautam (IAS: 2014: HP) has been posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
  4. Sudesh Kumar Mokta (IAS: 2010: HP) will continue to hold the post of Managing Director (MD), HPMC, and Project Director, HP Horticulture Development Society. 
  5. Lalit Jain (IAS: 2011: HP) has been posted as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Development Authority (BBNDA). 
  6. Zaffar Iqbal (IAS: 2017: HP) has been posted as Commissioner of Solan Municipal Corporation.
  7. Dr Amit Kumar (IAS: 2016: HP) has been given additional charge of Director (Personnel and Finance) HP State Electricity Board.
  8. Abhishek Verma (IAS: 2018: HP) has been posted as MD of HP General Industries Corporation. 
  9. Rahul Jain (IAS: 2019: HP) has been appointed as ADC, Kaza.
  10. Ajay Kumar Yadav (IAS: 2018: HP), has been posted as ADC, Solan. 
  11. Ritika (IAS: 2019: HP) has been appointed as Resident Commissioner, Pangi
  12. Mayank Chaudhary (IPS: 2019: HP), Kangra ASP, has been posted as Lahaul-Spiti SP.
  13. Manav Verma (IPS: 2015: HP), who has been posted as AIG, Police Headquarters.
  14. Richa Verma (IAS: 2012: HP) has been posted as Director, Land Records.
  15. Gopal Chand (IAS: 2011: HP) has been posted as Director, Urban Development with additional charge of CEO cum MD, Shimla Smart City Ltd.
  16. Rajeshwar Goel (IAS: 2012: HP), Director Vigilance cum Special Secretary (Home and Vigilance), has been given additional charge of MD, State Civil Supplies Corporation. 
  17. DC Rana has been posted as Special Secretary (Revenue, Disaster Management), besides holding the charge of Director Environment, Science and Technology and Member Secretary of State Council for Science, Technology and Environment.
  18. Shubh Karan Singh (IAS: 2015: HP) has been given additional charge of CEO, HIMURJA.
