Gaurav Dwivedi takes charge as CEO, Prasar Bharti

The Union government on Monday appointed Gaurav Dwivedi as Chief Executive Officer of public broadcaster Prasar Bharti. He will replace Mayank Agrawal who was given the additional charge of CEO Prasar Bharti in June this year.

Before Mayank Agarwal, Shashi Shekhar Vempati served as the CEO of Prasar Bharti from 2017 to 2022.

A 1995-batch officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, Dwivedi will serve for five-year tenure from the date he assumes charge.

Prior to this, he was discharging his duty as Chief Executive Officer of MyGovIndia, the citizen engagement platform of the government.
