Through a recent order, the Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-led Government of Sikkim moved a minor administrative reshuffle and transferred three IAS officers to new posts.
1. G P Upadhyaya (IAS 1987-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Tourism & Civil Aviation Department. Ahead of the new posting, Upadhyaya was holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department.
2. A K Yadav (IAS 1987-Batch) has been assigned the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Commerce and Industries Department. Yadav is presently holding the post of Additional Chief Secretary, Labour Department.
3. R Telang (IAS 1995-Batch) serving as Principal Secretary, Home Department has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Education Department.
