Punjab Govt assigns new charges to 3 IPS officers

The Government of Punjab, on November 6, has issued official orders to reshuffle the charges of three IPS officers and assigned them new charges.


As per the government orders, Sudhanshu S Srivastava has been moved to the Traffic department at the post of Additional Director General (ADG) of Police. Srivastava is a 1994-Batch IPS officer of Punjab cadre. Sachin Gupta, an IPS officer of 2014-Batch, has been transferred and assigned the post of Commandant-cum-Deputy Director (Indoor), MRS PPA, Phillaur, Punjab. While, Gurdial Singh has been shifted and given the charge of Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Counter Intelligence, Ludhiana, Punjab.
