Prativa Mohapatra becomes vice president & MD, Adobe India

Adobe India appoints Prativa Mohapatra as the vice president and Managing Director. With this appointment, Prativta Mohapatra becomes the first woman to lead Adobe India. She will lead Adobe’s India business across Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud and will work under Adobe’s President for the Asia Pacific (APAC) Simon Tate. As per role, she will also collaborate with Adobe’s engineering leaders to empower Adobe’s product innovation and customer experience. Prior to her joining the new post, Mohapatra was working with IBM as vice president of Digital Sales for APAC.

She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT, Rourkela, India, and completed her Post Graduation in Management from Xavier Institute of Management in Bhubaneswar, India, with a specialisation in Systems and Finance. Mohapatra has 25 years of experience in the technology industry. She started her career with PwC. While in IBM, she led the Sales for IBM India and South Asia ahead of becoming vice president, Digital Sales, APAC.

As reported by a national daily, on her new role, Mohapatra said, “Adobe is uniquely positioned as an enabler for everyone — students, creative artists, small businesses, government agencies and the largest brands — to design and deliver exceptional digital experiences. I am thrilled to join the world-class team at Adobe India and propel our business vision in the country.”
