Nodding to a minor administrative reshuffle, the Government of Uttarakhand issued orders to transfer five IAS officers on Friday, June 18.
1. Ashish Kumar Chauhan (IAS 2012-Batch) has been relieved of the charge of Managing Director (MD), Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. Chauhan is servings as Additional Secretary, Civil Aviation, Culture and Religion; CEO, Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA); MD, Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam; MD, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation; and Director General (DG), Directorate of Culture.
2. Abhishek Ruhela (IAS 2015-Batch) has been transferred and posted as MD, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation.
3. Narendra Singh Bhandari (IAS 2016-Batch) has been assigned the charge of MD, Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam and the additional charge of Vice-Chairman, District Level Development Authority, Nainital.
4. Varun Chaudhary (IAS 2017-Batch) has been given the post of Chief Development Officer (CDO), Chamoli.
5. Sandeep Tiwari (IAS 2017-Batch) has been made Chief Development Officer, Nainital.
The posting order for Anshul Singh (IAS 2018-Batch) as Deputy Collector of Udhamsingh Nagar has been cancelled.
