Following the orders from the Government of Gujarat, Anil Mukim (IAS 1985-Batch) Chief Secretary to the state government has been given an extension of six months. The extension granted to Mukim as CS will come in effect from March 1, 2021.
Anil Mukim was appointed as CS to the Government of Gujarat in November 2019 and was given an extension of six months in August 2020 till February 2021 a few days before his tenure was about to end and he was about to retire.
