The Government of Tamil Nadu, in a latest official order issued, promoted and appointed Md. Shakeel Akhtar, a 1989-Batch IPS officer as Special Director General of Police (DGP), Enforcement. At present, Shakeel is posted as Additional DGP, Crime.
