Amrapali Kata to assume charge of Deputy Secretary to PMO

Amrapali Kata, a 2010-Batch IAS officer of the Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been newly appointed as the Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Amrapali Kata is one of the three IAS officers who have been posted to serve the PMO until October 27, 2023.


The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), which was chaired by the Prime Minister, announced the names of the three IAS officers. The newly appointed officers will be commencing their postings within three weeks of the date of issuance of the appointment order.
