Haryana’s Bureaucratic Rejig: 8 IPS Officers Transferred

The Government of Haryana, on August 29, nodded for a major bureaucratic rejig involving reshuffling of the duties of eight IPS officers in the state.


  1. Alok Kumar Roy (1991-Batch IPS), currently serving as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Modernization and Police Welfare has been allotted the additional charge of ADGP, Prisons.

  2. Kala Ramachandran (1994-Batch IPS) has been posted as ADGP, Head Quarters with an additional charge of CAW.

  3. Charu Bali (1995-Batch IPS) has been given the charge of ADGP, IRB, Bhondsi with the additional charge of State Crime Branch, Gurugram.


  4. Shashank Anand (2006-Batch IPS) has been made the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), CID.

  5. Naazneen Bhasin (2007-Batch IPS) has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), RTC, Bhondsi.


  6. Sulochana Kumari (2010-Batch IPS) has been appointed as Commandant, IV Btn, IRB Manesar.

  7. Abhishek Jorwal (2011-Batch IPS) has been posted as SP, Rewari.

  8. Chander Mohan (2015-Batch IPS) is to assume the charge of  SP, Mahendragarh.
