Following a nod from the Government of Karnataka, over a dozen IAS officers have been reshuffled in a major bureaucratic reshuffle on Tuesday, July 28.

Rajkumar Khatri, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture will hold the concurrent charge of Secretary, Labour Department following the orders for the reshuffle from the state.

M Maheshwar Rao, who is having the charge of Secretary, MSME Department, has been removed from his current position of Secretary, Labour Department. Khatri has been appointed to replace him.

N Nagambika Devi, Additional Chief Secretary, Women & Child Development has been given the concurrent charge of Social Welfare. Assuming this charge, Devi will replace G Kumar Naik who is in charge of enforcing COVID-19 SOPs for containment zones in Bengaluru.

Rajendra KV has been made the Deputy Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada. Whereas, Pommala Sunil Kumar will assume the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Vijayapura and Kavitha S Mannikeri of Chitradurga districts.

Manoj Jain has been given the charge of Special Commissioner, Planning, BBMP. Rajendra Cholan P has been posted as Special Commissioner, Finance & IT, BBMP. Moreover, R Vinoth Priya has been made the Director, MSME, while BR Mamatha has been appointed as Additional Mission Director, Sakala Mission.

Sindhu B Rupesh is to assume the charge of Director, Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services, whereas, Darshan HV will be heading Zilla Panchayat as CEO. Further, HN Gopala Krishna has been posted as Managing Director, Mysuru Sugar Company Ltd and Patil Yalagouda Shivanagouda as Joint Director, Administrative Training Institute, Mysuru.
