Dhiraj Gyani joins GitHub to lead government & education outreach in India

Dhiraj Gyani, a public sector marketing leader has joined GitHub in order to lead GitHub’s government and education outreach in India. Gyani will be heading the responsibilities of supervising the company’s engagement strategy with government, education and public sector organisations.


GitHub is the world’s leading code hosting platform for software development. Since the time Microsoft has acquired GitHub, it has been focusing on strengthening its focus on India. At present, it is heading to open two centres in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

Gyani, prior to joining GitHub, has been leading the business processes to achieve marketing priorities for Microsoft’s commercial enterprise and public sector business in India.

Gyani has served over five years at Microsoft India and has been responsible for developing and executing all customer-facing marketing strategies aimed at policymakers, decision-makers and influencers across government, healthcare, education and public sector.
