On March 17, the online application of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) concludes. All the interested candidates for CBSE CTET 2020 can apply online on the official website at ctet.nic.in. After filing the application form the candidates need to submit latest by 3:30 pm via through e-Challan or Debit/Credit Card.
The Board released an official notification stating that the final verification of fee payment by the candidates can be done till March 18 up to 3:30 pm. If in case, the fee payment confirmation page is not generated after the requisite payment for the examination, the candidates can approach the Deputy Secretary (CTET), CBSE between 10 am to 5 pm from March 19 to March 26.
However, the candidates need to carry along with them a proof of payment or transaction of the fee such as a candidate copy of e-Challan, if payment made through e-Challan or similar receipts from other portals if used.
The interested candidates can visit the official website – ctet.nic.in to apply for the test online. Clicking on the ‘Apply Online’ link will open up an application form which the candidates need to fill and submit. Post filling the application form, candidates are advised to note down registration number/ application number.
To complete the application, candidates need to upload their scanned photographs and signatures as well. Moving on, the candidates need to submit the application fee. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the fee paid receipt for reference.
As per the CBSE’s schedule, the CTET 2020 will be conducted on July 5. The test will be conducted in 20 languages in 112 cities across the country. The fee for candidates of General category and Other Backward Classes (OBC) is Rs 1000 for paper 1 and Rs 1,200 for both the papers. However, examination fee for Schedule Caste (SC)/ Schedule Tribe (ST)/ Differently Abled is Rs 500 for paper 1, while, Rs 600 for both the papers.
The CBSE CTET 2020 online corrections, if any, in the particulars uploaded by the candidate can be made from March 19 to March 26. No Correction shall be allowed under any circumstances after this date.
