With an objective to showcase the investment opportunities in our smart cities, and reaffirm the state’s deep commitments for development of sustainable urban habitats, the Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) in Knowledge Partnership with Elets Technomedia, is organising Karnataka Smart Cities Investment Summit, 2020.

The two-day summit which will be held on 5-6 February  at Sheraton Grand, Bengaluru, will be a confluence of a large number of senior policymakers from the Government of India, state governments, domain experts, multilateral agencies, foreign diplomats and other stakeholders.

They will be deliberating upon emerging trends & innovations in various urban fields such as sanitation & waste management, mobility, water, smart infrastructure, energy, and urban healthcare etc. Besides, heads of various state departments will also grace the occasion. Prospective investors under PPP mode from various cities will also congregate to deliberate upon various facets of urban transformation, comprising infrastructural challenges and possible ways out.

The state of Karnataka is continuously striving to become a lead partner in Government of India’s vision of transforming the quality of urban living, through its flagship Smart Cities Mission. The mission seeks to promote development of cities in an inclusive and sustainable manner through application of ‘Smart’ Solutions and digital technologies for building core infrastructure. KUIDFC, has been appointed as the State Level Nodal Agency for project implementation in Karnataka.

The objective of holding the summit is to foster investments, technology transfers and partnership opportunities in Karnataka Smart City space, where all the Seven Smart Cities of Karnataka shall give a glimpse of their ongoing and potential projects.

In its vision to make the state a smart in true sense with world class infrastructure, the Government of Karnataka welcomes feedback, suggestions, and ideas from private sector.

It seek partnership opportunity to further enhance the business propositions in the state and make them stakeholders in its endeavour to usher revolutionary changes in the urban landscape of Karnataka.
