The Gujarat government led by Vijay Rupani on Thursday transferred 26 IAS officers including three district collectors of Anand, Kutch and Sabarkantha districts.

The list includes Sunaina Tomar, (1989-Batch) who is currently Principal Secretary, Ports and Transport Department will now take charge as Head, Energy and Petrochemicals Department relieving Pankaj Joshi of the additional charge. Pankaj Joshi, (1989-Batch) currently Principal Secretary to Government, Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar has been promoted to the grade of Additional Chief Secretary to Government and appointed to officiate in Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar.

S J Haider, (1991-Batch) currently Commissioner, Rural Development has been transferred as the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad replacing Sonal Mishra, (1997-Batch) has been appointed as the Secretary, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department.

Dilip Rana, (2007-Batch) currently District Collector, Anand has been posted as Commissioner, Tribal Department whereas Nagarajan M, (2009-Batch) Collector of Kutch has been appointed as the Director of Higher Education, Gandhinagar. Whereas D K Praveena, (2009-Batch) Collector of Sabarkantha will be the new Kutch Collector whereas C J Patel, (2007-Batch) currently Director of Labour Department will be the new Collector of Sabarkantha.

Sanjay Nandan, (1988-Batch) currently Managing Director, Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation has been promoted to the grade of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of India while continuing to serve in the same capacity.

Anuradha Mall, (1988-Batch) currently Chief Executive Officer, Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, Gandhinagar has been promoted to the grade of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of India while continuing to serve in the same capacity.

Anita Karwal, (1988-Batch) currently Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi has been given proforma promotion to the grade of Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of India.

In addition to these, Ranjeeth Kumar, (2005-Batch) currently Commissioner of the Tribal Development has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Gandhinagar.
