IAS officers


Government of Chhattisgarh transferred and gave additional posts to nine IAS officers in a bureaucratic reshuffle on Thursday.

While Rajendra Prasad Mandal (1987-Batch) has been appointed as the Chief Secretary of the state, CK Khaitan, another 1987-Batch officer, who was also one of the contenders for the post of Chief Secretary, has been named the Chairman of Board of Revenue.

Subrata Sahu (1992-Batch) has been Principal Secretary of Home and Jail Department. He has also been given additional charge of Panchayat and Rural Development Department.


Ajay Singh (1983-Batch) has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the State Planning Commission.

Alok Kumar Shukla has been made the Principal Secretary of Planning, Economic, Statistics, 20 Point Implementation Science and Technology Department. Along with this, he has also been allotted additional responsibility of Director General Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council.


Manoj Kumar Pingua (1994-Batch) has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Forest Department.

Dr. Maninder Kaur Dwivedi has been given the charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner and Principal Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Biotechnology. Along with this, the 1995-Batch officer has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Village Industries Department and Resident Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Bhawan, New Delhi.

Dr. Kamalpreet Singh (2002-Batch) has been given additional charge of Secretary Transport Department and Transport Commissioner along with his current duties.

Bhuvnesh Yadav (2006-Batch) has been given the charge of Commissioner Health Services as well as additional charge of Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation.
