In a major reshuffle in the Gujarat bureaucracy on Tuesday, the Gujarat government led by Vijay Rupani transferred 29 IPS officers across the state, according to an official order.

Ajay Kumar Tomar, 1989-batch, currently Additional Director General of Police, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar has been posted as the Ex-Cadre post of Special Commissioner of Police (Crime), Ahmedabad city.

Dr. Shamsher Singh, 1991-batch, presently Additional Director General of Police, Armed Police (Armed Unit), Gujarat State, Gandhinagar is now the Additional Director General of Police, CID (Crime), Gandhinagar.

Dr. K L N Rao, 1992-batch, Additional Director General of Police (Inquiry), Gandhinagar now transferred and posted as the Additional Director General of Police & Inspector General of Prisons, Gujarat state, Ahmedabad.
