Central Government employees likely to get pay hike with 7th Pay Commission Implementation

7th Pay Commission

The Central Government employees are likely to get pay hike post the Seventh Pay Commission Recommendation, before Dusshera.

As per reports, the Modi Government is considering the demand of the employees of the Central Government to increase the basic pay by Rs 8,000, which would increase the pay scale from of Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000.

As per the employees, the pay of Rs 18,000 is not making much impact on their financial status.

The employees have also demanded increase in the Dearness Allowances (DA). At present, they are getting 12 percent DA, which was implemented from January 2019 onwards.

A hike of five percent in the DA is expected by the Central Government employees, which is also likely to be announced ahead of Dusshera in October 2019.
