The new facility in Virar was recently acquired by the German enterprise software maker and will allow it “to tap skilled talent and offer them opportunities to work on cutting-edge innovation in the cloud domain”, Vasudeva Kothamasu, Senior Vice President, Cloud R&D, Software AG, said.
He added that the new centre would enable Software AG to “offer world-class integration solutions to our customers”.
The German enterprise software maker also plans to work closely with the local colleges by delivering seminars and hackathons to help them acquire new skills in line with the latest technology innovations used by the industries.

The 50 years old company had recently hired IBM veteran Sanjay Brahmawar as its CEO to boost the company’s revenue, which remained almost unchanged in the past eight years.
Bhahmawar aims to help the company grow again and expects to return to one billion euros in sales by 2023 by making investment in sales employees and research and development.
