Rajasthan: Naresh K Thakral to be the new Public Services Director

Naresh K Thakral, has been assigned the role of Director, Public Services, Government of Rajasthan.
Thakral is an IAS officer of 2006 batch, Rajasthan cadre. He is presently the Collector and District Magistrate, Sikar. He has been transferred and posted as Director, Public Services and Ex-Officio Special Secretary to Government.
Earlier, he was serving as the Special Secretary, Public Grievances Redressal, Controller of Exams, Administrative Reforms, Government of Rajasthan.
The transfer of Thakral has been a part of a recent bureaucratic reshuffle of the Rajasthan Government brought into action in February 2019. Along with him, 14 other officers including Ashutosh AT Pednekar, Premchand Berwal, Sreya Guha among others have also been transferred and allotted additional duties.
