As part of bureaucratic reshuffle in Rajasthan, Ashutosh Pednekar, IAS, has been appointed Secretary & Commissioner, Panchayati Raj. He will also hold the charge of the position of Secretary, Disaster Management, Relief & Civil Defence.
Pednekar, the 2002-Batch IAS officer, Rajasthan cadre, has previously served as Commissioner and Secretary, College Education, and held additional post of Secretary, Medical Education.

Apart from Ashutosh Pednekar, 15 IAS officers, including two district collectors, have been either transferred or given additional charge by the Government of Rajasthan. These officers include Naresh K Thakral, Sreya Guha, Ankit Kumar Singh, and Premchand Berwal.
