Harjeet Singh, former Secretary Higher Education-cum- DPI (Colleges), Punjab and in addition Deputy Commissioner, Gurdwara Elections and in addition Member Secretary, Punjab State Commissioner for Backward Classes has been made Commissioner, Faridkot Division.
The 2001-batch IAS officer replaces Sumer Singh Gurjar, IAS.

The reshuffle, carried out across the State of Punjab, also includes 100 PCS officers. Several deputy commissioners of districts have been reshuffled along with the change of guard of key departments of the State.
