CM launches Delta Charging Station at Maharashtra Mantralaya

Maharashtra MantralayaIn a bid to support the government’s electric mobility drive, Delta Power Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd, a leading Power and Energy management company, has launched its Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger Center today at Maharashtra Mantralaya. The launch ceremony was graced by Dr. Harsh Vardhan Union Minister for Science & Technology & Earth Sciences, Government of India and Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), an energy service company (ESCO) of the Government of India, has been appointed by Maharashtra government to provide 50 electric cars for senior officials at the state secretariat and at the Mumbai offices of the public works department (PWD). While ESSL will manage the fleet management, Delta will provide AC/DC EV Charger solutions.

Speaking on the occasion, Hiren Pravin Shah, Senior Director – Energy Storage Solutions, Delta Power Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd, said: “The DC Fast Charger with the capacity of 15 KW is made based on the Bharat EV specifications standard. The advanced EV charging solution offerings from Delta will enable to charge newly launch e-cars such as Tata Tigor and Mahindra Verito. With a fully charged car battery able to sustain up to 100 to 120 km.”

Delta has already started manufacturing EV Charger in India and is ready to offer electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions to all kind of e-buses, e-cars and commercial electric-vehicle (EV), he added.
