“I have interacted with the team of Elets when they were hosting a smart city summit in partnership with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, the organization I am with currently. But my affinity with them goes back much in the past, from the time when I was one of their online subscribers for their eGov Magazine. The coverage of multifarious governance issues in their magazine and online portal were always educative. During the smart city summit hosted in Hyderabad, they proved to be on top of their game, wherein they could manage to pull together a wide spectrum of participants from industry leaders like Uber, Mahindra, Ramky to top government functionaries and elected representatives. The summit not only kick started the smart city debate, it also provoked intense developmental agenda in the city of Hyderabad post the ideas generated during the summit. I also had the opportunity to be a part of their recent National Waste Management summit which was a first of its kind gathering in the country. On their reaching the milestone of 150th issue, I wish them many more successes and may they continue to lead the agenda of intellectual governance.”
