Rajive Kumar appointed new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh

Rajive Kumar, an IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre ( 1981 batch), has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of the State. He has replaced Rahul Bhatnagar who has now been appointed as the new Chairman of Greater Noida and Investment Commissioner, UP.

Kumar was earlier posted as Secretary in the Ministry of Shipping.

The State government has also transferred 40 IAS officers and six Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers.
