S Gopu, Director (HR), ITI Ltd, took over the additional charge of the post of Chairman and Managing Director of ITI Ltd, with effect from December 31, 2016.
“We are upgrading our infrastructure and resource capability, to keep pace with the technological advancements. Our consistent effort towards transforming ITI Ltd into a progressive company has been taking shape and re-enhancing our glory,” says the new CMD, after taking over the charge.
Gopu took over as Director (HR) of ITI Ltd on April 16, 2014. He is instrumental in implementing various HR initiatives in the Company.
His systematic approach towards Human Resource re-positioning across the Units has helped the Company towards effective utilization of Human Resource.
An Engineering Graduate and Post Graduate Diploma from University of Madras, Mr S. Gopu joined ITI in January 1982 as Assistant Executive Engineer at ITI Bangalore Plant.
