The Uttar Pradesh Government has transferred seven IPS officers, including the police chiefs of Rae Bareli and Etawah.
According to an official communiqué, Director General – Prisons and Security, Gopal Gupta, has been now shifted as Director General – Railways and Security. Present ADG Railways, GL Meena, will now be ADG -Prisons.

The transfer order of ADG Sanjay M Tarde to PTS in Gorakpur has now been cancelled, and he will remain in the CB-CID at Lucknow.
SP Railways in Agra N Kolanchi and SSP Etawah Piyush Srivastava would swap their respective places of posting. Similarly, SP Rae Bareli Hari Narayan Singh and SP (Intelligence) Vinay Kumar Yadav would also swap their present places of posting.
