Dr P Rama Mohana Rao is Acting Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu

 


Dr P Rama Mohana Rao is new Acting Chief Secretary to Govt. of Tamil NaduDr P Rama Mohana Rao, an IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre of 1985 batch, has been made Acting Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu in place of K Gnanadikeshan, an IAS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre of 1982 batch. Dr Rao currently serves as Additional Chief Secretary/Secretary-I to Chief Minister J Jayalalitha.

Along with newly the assigned duty, Dr Rao will hold full charge of the post of Vigilance Commissioner and Commissioner for Administrative Reforms.

The incumbent Chief Secretary K Gnanadikeshan has been made Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Industries Development Corporation. He had replaced M V Chunkath as Chief Secretary in December 2015.
