Delhi Govt launches Andriod app mSeva

l3The Government of Delhi has launched an Android app called mSeva, in association with the Delhi Jal Board that will help citizens to pay their water bills. The facility is also available on the web.

The app will generate a bill once a user takes a picture of their water meter. Apart from the payment of the bills, mSeva will also allow users to view and download previous bills and payment receipts and also check the water and consumption graph. This will even prevent queues at DJB and its associated centres.

The DJB will also grant permission to the users to apply for various things like connection, disconnection, reopening, grievance logging and tracking application status.
