Freshdesk Inc, which provides a SaaS-based customer support platform for enterprises, has named LinkedIn India MD Nishant Rao as chief operating officer.

“In his role, Rao handle non-R&D aspects of Freshdesk’s operations,” the company said in an official statement.
Rao was serving as LinkedIn’s India head since 2013. He has over 10 years of industry experience in leadership positions. He has worked with companies such as McKinsey and ARIBA Inc.
