The Kerala Government has appointed senior IPS officer Tomin J. Thachankary as the Transport Commissioner of the State. The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting.
He has been given the charge as R Sreelekha will go on a leave for three months. In addition, Thachankary will be replaced by S Ratnakumar, who is currently Director, Rubber Marketing Federation.
