Durga Shankar Mishra, a 1984 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh Cadre, has been given an additional charge of Vice Chairman in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), for a tenure of three months. At present, Mishra is serving as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development.
The post had been lying vacant since June 2, after Anup Kumar Pujari, a 1980 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre was shifted from the Ministry of Mines to the Ministry of Micro Small and Enterprises (MSME) as Secretary. Apart from that, replacing Pujari, Balvender Kumar, a 1981 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre was appointed as Secretary, Mines.
