Satyanarayan Mohanty has been appointed the Secretary-General of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
Mohanty is a 1980 batch IAS officer of Telangana cadre and is currently working as the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
