Meena appointed as Delhi ACB chief

Mukesh MeenaThe central government has appointed Delhi Police Joint Commissioner Mukesh Kumar Meena—a 1989 batch IPS officer—as the new chief of Delhi’s Anti Corruption Branch (ACB).

Meena had been transferred out of Delhi and was awaiting posting in Arunachal Pradesh, as per a Ministry of Home Affairs order issued on April 8. Additional Commissioner of Police S S Yadav is currently heading the anti-graft body.

In addition to this, seven Inspectors have also been moved to the ACB.
