Siraj Hussain, a senior IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been given an additional charge of Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution. Currently, he is Secretary in the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation.
Hussain has been given the additional charge for a period of three months from the date of superannuation of incumbent Sudhir Kumar, who retired on May 29, 2015.
