Delhi Metro commuters would be able to download new free apps from an application, which would also offer redeemable points for recharging the smart cards.
The users will be able to download applications from an application for Android users – Offer World.
“The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has tied up with the Offer World app. The Offer World will reward the users for downloading apps available with it,” DMRC Chief Spokesman Anuj Dayal said.
“The users can download the Offer World app from Google Play Store. After that, simply download any of the selected apps available on the offer page, which will give credits,” he added.
For every recharge, a user can redeem his/her collected credits by entering smart card number on the app.
“The card will be recharged within 48 hours of entering the details. You will also be able to check your available balance or credits on the app,” he said.
