The Telangana Government has launched a dedicated healthcare app for the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to make healthcare facilities more accessible.
The app, which is powered by Mahindra Comviva, was conceptualised by the Healthcare Innovation Cell (HIC) of the state health ministry.
This is the first dedicated app for any ministry of health and family welfare in India. Currently available for Android users, the app has listed more than 800 government healthcare centres in the cities. The app will be available in both Telugu and English and can be downloaded for free through the Google play store.
With the help of this app, users can have health-related information at their fingertips. Besides easily locating health centres, they can track and record their health data through the health tools.
