Anurag Jain appointed JS in PMO

Anurag Jain
Senior IAS officer Anurag Jain has been appointed as Joint Secretary (JS) in Prime Minister’s Office.


Jain, a 1989 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre may assume charge on January 1, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) said.

He is presently working as JS in Department of Financial Services under the Finance Ministry.

Jain has been appointed for the balance period of his central deputation, i.e. till June 28, 2016.


He has held various posts in the state including Collector, Bhopal and Secretary to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
