The Bihar government has transferred/given additional charge to 26 IAS officers. They include:

* Project Director, Aids Control Society, Sanjiv Kumar Sinha has been made member of the Revenue Board.

* Ramashish Paswan has been made the new Director of SC & ST Welfare department.

* Divesh Sehra has been send to the Panchayti Raj department.

* Excise Commissioner Sayyed Parvez Alam has been made the new Sugarcane Commissioner. He would swap place with Chitranjan Singh.

Names of the remaining 22 IAS officers with new assignments could not be made available immediately.
