Under the deal, National Institute for Smart governance will digitise Delhi’s archival records like gazettes, maps, manuscripts and photographs

The Delhi government on Tuesday inked an agreement with the National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), Hyderabad, for digitisation of its archival records like gazettes, maps, manuscripts and photographs. The deal will include transfer of the digital contents on micro film for long-term preservation, an official statement said.

The agreement was signed by Keshav Chandra, secretary to Delhi Chief Minister, and the CEO of NISG Sanjeev Mittal. The digitised records can be accessed by the general public and government agencies.
